Do you think you would've liked to have had a pet dinosaur?

Asked by seazen (6123points) October 16th, 2010

You’ve seen the trained crocs – the guy sticks his head into his mouth and remains unscathed.

People have trained lions and tigers and bears twice their size and more.

Do you think there were pet dinosaurs? Would you want one in your cave – or guarding it?

You do know dinosaurs and humans never co-existed, right?

I dunno. This one never seemed that well trained to me.

I’ll have a T Rex on a very sturdy chain, please. He should be just outside the cave entrance. That should scare away the other people who want to steal my food.

@seazen – Was it so long ago that you don’t you remember?

I’ll bet somewhere between 300,000 and 100,000 years ago some kid put a cockroach in a wooden stick cage and called it a pet – before he ate it.

@seazen – Hahaha… oh yeah, Jurassic Park.. and we saw how well that turned out, eh?

I didn’t say they wouldn’t require chains and a good sturdy fence.

It could give rise to a whole new game show: Are You Smarter Than a Velociraptor?

Noooo! I don’t think I’ll ever have a pet that is more than twice my weight. Too intimidating.

I want a pet crocodile, not kidding. They’re technically dinosaurs, right?

Don’t wanna imagine the feeding costs…
