Eating mud in a friend’s front garden, aged 3. My brother told me I’d have worms growing in my stomach and I cried.

The screened-in side porch on my family’s first house, watching my dad and his friend build matching hi-fi cabinets (I think they had attended a cabinet-making class together). I couldn’t have been more than three, if that. I also remember my grandmother’s house from the same period. I can still picture almost every room in that lovely old Victorian-style house, which still stands in Fort Worth bearing a city landmark plaque and looking no different.

Tumbling down the stairs and subsequently hallucinating a haunting scene on the tv screen.

Don’t think it caused any permanent damage though. (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

Age two, a little escapade from my parents in a parking lot outside a PX located in Germany.

Sadly, my earliest memory is quite traumatic—a plane crash (commercial airliner and small, private plane) collided near my neighborhood. I have certain visual recollections, but the sounds and smells of that day have really stuck with me. I had recurring nightmares that arose from this event for many years. I think I was three years old at the time.

I think coughing my head off with whooping cough in a crib. Next the Easter basket competition with my best friend at age 3 and I still have a photo of us holding them. I think I have my fingers in my mouth. (-:

I remember watching my little sister learning to walk. I must have been about three.

The 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, when I was about two and a half years old. I remember hiding under a desk with Mom and my fifteen-day-old sister.

”...a plane crash (commercial airliner and small, private plane) collided near my neighborhood.”

Was that the crash involving an AeroMexico airliner on August 31, 1986?

@Brian1946, no it was three decades earlier in Texas. I actually googled a bit to see if I could find a record of the incident, but no such luck.

Believe it or not, I actually remember being on my foam tub floaty as a baby, and my mom squeezing warm water from a rag over my body. I can remember laying there, looking up at her and feeling the comfort of the warm water running over me and feeling sad when my bath was over.

My earliest memory had to be when I was about 6months old. I remember being in my walker strolling around underneath the kitchen table, looking at everyone’s knees lol. I believe I was this age because I learned to walk at 8 months, and learned to whistle at 9 months. I also remember potty training at a year old.
