I was watching “Victorious” on nick episode ” Survival of the Hottest” and when Cat was dancing with the boys, what was the song she was dancing to ? Was it a real song?

I haven’t seen it, but most of the time for this sort of thing they get a song made for the show. If they use a real song they need to license it again for the DVD release and for stuff like Netflix where it’s showed legally online. It’s a lot easier, and financially sound, to just pay someone once for the song and own the copyright on it than to use something that exists outside of the show’s universe.
