Yup. Hoping everyone else will too!

I did. First time. Although I shouldn’t say what I voted for or else it won’t come true. :D

Jury duty here we come!

muppetish's avatar

I filled out my vote by mail ballot, but didn’t send it in time. I’ll be turn it in tomorrow after school.

jrpowell's avatar

Yep. Straight Republican ticket. I have a plan. It is called stupid or brilliant.

heresjohnny's avatar

Sure did. About 2 weeks ago, by mail.

I’ve filled out my ballot. There’s a polling place just down the street that I’ll walk over to and drop off my ballot. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s open at 12:30am, else I’d be there.

And I’ve got three parties represented on my ballot. Though I can’t tell you which.

DrasticDreamer's avatar

I did, indeed. Dropping off my ballot in the morning.

Hawaii_Jake's avatar

Yes, I took advantage of early voting.

Roby's avatar

Yes, I am always an early voter.

lillycoyote's avatar

No, not yet. The polls here don’t open for hours still.

augustlan's avatar

I will be today.

Facade's avatar

No, but I wanted to. Not registered in NJ yet. Should’ve done that…

LuckyGuy's avatar

Just did it. It’s nice to see the neighbors so early in the morning.
This is the first year for our area to have the electronic voting machines. We’ve entered the 21st century.

rawpixels's avatar

I usually vote, but this time I decided to refrain. I believe both parties are incompetent.

JilltheTooth's avatar

Geez, you guys are early! I’m not even dressed yet! I will vote after I have some more coffee and can go out without getting arrested. Many many races in my state, lots of foul campaigning, thinking of supporting the Beagle ticket; Snoopy and Woodstock…...

IchtheosaurusRex's avatar

October 12, in-person early voting.

jenandcolin's avatar

Not yet, but I will. O’Donnell is running in my state and could actually win. Scary.

syz's avatar

Yep. Early voting rocks!

MrItty's avatar

Yup. Only two other people in my polling place at 7am.

tedibear's avatar

Sure did! I was there at 7:30AM and not a line in sight. I know that after work it will be busy so I’m gald I got in there first thing. My husband was even earlier at 6:45AM. He’s usually one of the first 6 or 8 people there.

CaliBuddz's avatar

I think voting is a lie created by the government to give the people a false sense of power. Fight the power brah

janbb's avatar

I was #20 at 7:30.

AmWiser's avatar

On my way out the door right now.

MrItty's avatar

@CaliBuddz conspiracy theories like that crack me up. Look at the world around you. Look at all the incompetence and inability to get anything done, or at least done well. You honestly think this same group of people who can’t do the most basic of things is capable of a nation-wide, centuries-long conspiracy? You give them more faith than they deserve.

stratman37's avatar

right after work!

perg's avatar

I voted Thursday. Yay early voting!

JilltheTooth's avatar

Just voted, with the added bonus that they sell Girl Scout Cookies at the polls. Makes doing my civic duty more palatable!

Tuesdays_Child's avatar

Getting ready to go out now. The kittens with earphones precinct is crowded early in the morning so I waited until mid-day.

skfinkel's avatar

Check out NYT to see how people are feeling all day long about the vote. My first word was “worried.”

Ivan's avatar

Nope. I work all day today, and I don’t feel informed enough to choose one candidate over another.

Carly's avatar

No. I like to watch how things turn out without my input.

ducky_dnl's avatar

I voted. (: It was my first election too.

augustlan's avatar

My husband and I went to the polls together, and canceled out each other’s votes. My guy won! :)

lillycoyote's avatar

@ducky_dnl Yay!!! Your first election! I wish you many more! Don’t ever get discouraged, at least not about voting. It really does matter, it really does make a difference.
