What replaces the System.Data.OracleClient in .NET Framework 4.0?

Asked by Ranimi23 (1917points) November 9th, 2010

I heard that microsft don’t support Oracle connection any more?
So what should I do if I need to work with Oracle DB? I can run the application, but I have lots of ERROR because of this object.

Hmm. Unfortunately I am not familiar with System.Data.OracleClient, but I would guess that Oracle supplies a .NET connector that you can use in your code. I say this becaues MySQL provides one that you can download on their site. Just do some Googling for “access oracle database C#” or something like that.
