Windows vista limited connectivity fix?

Okay, I reformatted my laptop. When ever I do this I get limited connectivity. I know to fix it I have to enter a command like ipconfig / something to fix the issue in the dos window. I just can’t remember what that command is. Anyone know?

IPCONFIG (space)/RELEASE

Then reboot it should renew on it’s own but if it doesn’t IPCONFIG (space)/RENEW
