Who is the first ever Chinese owner of an NBA franchise?

There was a lot of press about a Chinese businessman buying a piece of the Cavaliers in 2009, but that deal actually fell apart. Wondering if there’s any Chinese who owned or owns a part of any franchise at this point.

George Shinn is the current owner of the New Orleans Hornets. He purchased the team for $32,500,000 in 1987. In 1997, he lost his bid for a National Hockey League expansion franchise to be called the Hampton Roads Rhinos.
