What are some good short story books?

I read a great book of short stories this Thanksgiving break called – When the Nines Roll Over.

I’m looking for more of the same.

I really don’t care for fantasy and science fiction.

Suggestions?

Anything by David Sedaris, but especially Me Talk Pretty One Day It’s very funny stuff about a guy that is an expatriate in France trying to learn the language as he goes about his daily life. Also by Sedaris is a great one about his family and up-bringing called Dress Your Family in Cordouroy and Denim
