I'm looking for a suitable waltz?

Asked by jlelandg (3536points) November 30th, 2010

My students are putting own their own version of Cinderella and have asked me to find a suitable waltz. They want slow—because I showed them Blue Danube and Nutcracker Suite and was told both were too fast. Suggestions?

Op. 39, No. 22 or 23 Dimitri Kabalevsky or maybe, Brahms Waltz A flat. Hope this helps.

I love the Ashokan Farewell waltz that was played in Ken Burns’s Civil War television series. The only problem is that it may be a little too sad for Cinderella.
