Has a movie ever ripped you off? How did you feel?

Ever checked out a movie who’s trailer, back o’ da box description or anything like that gave you the idea that it was this or that concept, but ended up being something totally different? For example, think about the movie The Village, and how before most people saw it, they thought it was your standard horror movie?
(If anyone knows a Trope for that, let me know.)
Today, I watched The White Dragon.
I was expecting tons and endless amounts of crazy Chinese fighting, and while there was some…this is what I got.

But you know what, I really loved it, this was such an awesome and sweet movie. It’s also really sad at times, and it may be my recent and strange obsession for blind samurai, but I thought it was fantastic.
There are three major fight scenes, and the rest is the two protagonists developing a relationship. The dubbed English really sucks and this is really odd at times, but it’s good enough to make me do a question about haha.
As the Great Zatoichi said, even with my eyes wide open, I can’t see a thing. I’m pretty sure Chickenfeather would disagree, but…

So, has something like this happened to you? How did you feel, what was your experience like? What was the movie?
