Are there any sites similar to Audible, but for ebooks?

Just hoping to find a site with a subscription service like Audible but for ebooks, with multiple formats or at least Kindle compatible.

Dunno ‘bout Audible, but The Gutenberg Project has a lot of books in ePub format, which ought to be Kindle-compatible. It is, of course, free.
Can’t you convert docs into the Kindle format via the Amazon website?

Yes, you can convert the books on Amazon for a small fee, but calibre can do it for free.
