How to activate iPhone without valid sim-card?

Asked by joon1986 (185points) December 28th, 2010

I have a iPhone 4 that is locked to Bell
I am with Rogers so I can’t activate the phone (due to invalid sim card issue)
I was hoping if someone can tell me the way to activate the phone without the valid sim card
Thanks

You could ask Bell to unlock the iPhone.

I don’t believe you can in this case because Bell is a CDMA network and Rogers is a GSM network so it’s to different types of technologies.. thats like asking to take a verizon phone (which dont take sim cards) and put it on a T-Mobile or AT&T network (which do take / require sim cards).

Can you go the Rogers authorized dealer in your area and get a Rogers mirco-SIM ? ?

There is no CDMA iPhone (at present). Bell offer the iPhone on it’s HSPA network.
