What does 'L2' mean on an Alpine car stereo?

The display keeps shifting between L—, L1, L2, L3, L4. See http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/semiotomatic/5307997809/ What does this mean?

Does it have a built in GPS or Bluetooth? Maybe it has something to do with that.

it might refer to List 1, List 2, etc., from your MP3/iPod player. Why not go to the Alpine web site, and look at the user manual for your model on line?
