How would I go about finding a builder/designer of websites?

I can do that, I make sites for a living, what does she want exactly?

I work with flash all the time, as well as other site related things.

Well, after I posted this, I had the idea that I could probably do what she wants with Wix… and since I’m desperate for money, this could help us both.

Essentially, I think it’ll be fairly simple.. like main page – overview, then other pages with pics of each apartment, as well as the grounds and such.. details, rental rates, contact info, info about the area, etc. etc. She is not that tech-savvy and keeps saying “I want Flash”, “It has to be Flash”, “But it’ll be Flash, right?”—so, there must be Flash so she will hush up about it already.

She was in negotiation with a firm to do this, but she didn’t want to go with them for some reason, maybe they were too expensive. I can’t remember.

Anyway, I made my proposal to her about my doing it, but if she doesn’t want that, I was hoping there was a website or community or something? I dunno. Or you, @poisonedantidote, I guess. :)

I would definitely talk to this guy.

Sorry for the snark response, I spent some time reviewing his portfolio and it made me laugh earlier today.

I would have suggested Wix for ya… especially since you just need to post some photos and info. Glad you found it on your own.

Just to give her a heads up, but many people are moving AWAY from Flash. Many of the larger sites are spending millions to gut their sites to remove it. I personally disable Flash sites and my browsing experience is a thousandfold better.

Well, she is not very technically-savvy and I suspect that she doesn’t even really know what Flash is. But that’s interesting, thanks for the heads-up!
