Any good free applications for mac in which I can easily create cartoon animations?

I have no experience at all. Just a simple one in which anyone can do it?

Pencil is good if you intend to use a Tablet and draw every frame, I use it because I prefer to draw each frame separately, rather than the Flash type approach where you can tell particular elements to move between keyframes. Its very simple to use, and open source.
