“Where are you? What are you doing? Who’s on the phone? Who are you texting? Wait, I’ll come with you to the store/post office/gynecologist! What are you reading? Do you love me, love me, love me?”

Someone who feels that, all or at least most, of his or her personal, psychological and emotional needs and wants can and should be filled by you. So either they expect you to be around them all the time or they need to be around you all the time. And as @Blueroses points out, even if you are around them all the time even that might not be enough. They may need constant confirmation that the two of you need nothing more than each other, ever. Just thinking about it feels suffocating.

I agree with @Blueroses, but you did forget the traditional driving past your house at 10pm. ;)

Oh wait.. That might be a stalker.

I’ve got a different twist to this because I’ve had an ex who was/is my best friend and we were always each other’s first pick for company or to share something with. I’d say it would be clingy or needy behavior if the companionship is annoying rather than comfortable and welcome or if the attention still doesn’t make for a happy content person.

When someone makes you the center of their universe….to the exclusion of a life for themselves (outside interests, things to do, etc.)

What are you doing? Where are you going? Why didn’t you call me? Are we going to the xyz? Are you going with me? Why do you still keep pictures of xyz? Don’t you love me? Don’t you love me? Don’t you love me? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

Basically, you feel very Copernican. You are the Sun, they are the circling planet. It feels really good at first, but eventually, this soon wears off and you pray for a roving asteroid to come and send them into another galaxy to circle another star. Preferably not as “stellar” as you, but another star, nevertheless. :)

Text from needy person
ten minutes passes
respond to needy person
needy person replies: Why’d it take you so long to text back, what are you up to, why don’t you want to see me. It’s ok if you’re doing homework, I’ll just come hangout and be around you
so do you want to see me?

mostly what others have said.

someone who guilts you into hanging out

someone who is not happy unless they’re with you( theres a difference between enjoying someone’s company and being dependent.)

someone you met a couple weeks ago and says they need to see you and they miss you so much ( haha, true story)
