Is there an easy way to turn a Wordpress site into a Chrome app?

For example, if you have a blog, could you turn the entire contents into a downloadable “app” that works on Google’s Chrome platform?

From what I’ve seen, Chrome Apps aren’t much more than seamless bookmarks to a web app URL. You could if you wanted, but I don’t see much benefit of turning a website into a Chrome App, much less a blog.
