I’m wondering where you get your information.

To get an idea of what Fluther is about and how it’s gotten to be what it is now, you might want to check out the Fluther Blog. From what I remember, Fluther started in 2006.

@ben is one of the owners. He joined on Oct.15, 2006. So, that’s reliable starting date.

Paid in guacamole, maybe!

Wait…I’ve never been paid. You guys getting paid? I knew I should’ve given my banking info and social security info when they asked.

We ALL get paid—in lurve!!

@chyna : Why do you think we were all so excited about your job??? ;-D

I don’t even want a check this quarter. Just tell the guys that I’ll take the Aston Martin Volante. They know where to deliver it.

What the hell is ‘ChaCha’?

mrentropy's avatar

@FutureMemory It appears to be a Q&A site where the answers are FREE(!) but you can become a ChaCha ‘guide’ and make money. And I suppose that’s why this person is asking how much we make.

And they require your cell phone number to sign up.

Kill it with fire!

Paid in PANCAKES, and sometimes lurve.

Wait… you guys are getting paid and no one told me? I feel so… so… taken advantage of!

WillWorkForChocolate's avatar

@FutureMemory But then I won’t have an excuse for my wild behavior!

Well, we are a hot item in Q & A, but we don’t pay for answers. Except with lurve and admiration. And pancakes.

Foolaholic's avatar

Does that mean I can exchange some of this Lurve for more pancakes?

Tropical_Willie's avatar

No, just admiration and a laugh or chuckle. ;-)

ChaCha says it pays – but don’t – cash flow problems.

I was looking around at other Q&A websites – just checking. I answer for free on Hubpages but I figure since I do it anyway – might as well get a few cents out of it.

I am curious @ptosis….exactly where did you hear, “that Fluther was a hot item in Q&A”?
