Angels in my Heart

When I have no one to turn to
And I am feeling kind of low
When there is no one here to talk to
And no where I really want to go

I search deep within myself
It is the love inside my heart
That lets me know my Angels are there
Even though we are many miles apart

A smile then appears upon my face
And the sun begins to shine
I hear a voice, so soft and sweet
Saying, “Everything will be just fine”

It may seem that I am alone
But I am never by myself at all
Whenever I need my Angels near
All I have to do is call

An Angel’s love is always true
On that you can always depend

They will always stand behind you
And will always be your friend.

Angel Wings

Thine tears have cloaked a miracle
For weeping hearts cannot see
While stillness lays under roses kept
A soul ascended free.

Unshackled from earthly pain
A companions love the Angel sees
She wraps her wings around you,
But you think it leaves upon the breeze

She walks in union astride thee
To comfort the grieving heart
She wants you to feel her paradise
And how temporary your time apart

Her companionship loyal
Though earthy eyes are blind
She will delight in your smile
And every happiness you find

When time has spent it’s last
You will hear heaven as she sings
Ready eyes will see her smile
And you shall dance with angels wings.

I wrote this- Hope it helps and is not too long

This is a song lyric, but it’s one of my favorites:

“Talking To My Angel” by Melissa Etheridge

Don’t be afraid
Close your eyes
Lay it all down
Don’t you cry
Can’t you see I’m going
Where I can see the sun rise
I’ve been talking to my angel
And he said that it’s alright

I’ve always had to run
I don’t know just why
Desire slowly smoking
Under the Midwest sky
There’s something waiting out there
That says I’ve got to try
I’ve been talking to my angel
And he said that it’s alright

This town thinks I’m crazy
They just think I’m strange
Sometimes they want to own me
Sometimes they wish I’d change
But I can feel the thunder
Underneath my feet
I sold my soul for freedom
It’s lonely but it’s sweet

Don’t be afraid
Close your eyes
Lay it all down
Don’t you cry
Can’t you see I’m going
Where I can see the sun rise
I’ve been talking to my angel
And he said that it’s alright

One of my favs is Angels, in the early morning by Emily Dickinson
Angels, in the early morning
May be seen the Dews among,
Stooping—plucking—smiling—flying—
Do the Buds to them belong?

Angels, when the sun is hottest
May be seen the sands among,
Stooping—plucking—sighing—flying—
Parched the flowers they bear along.

And more…Read and find one that speaks to you.
