Do photographs or Daguerrotypes exist of Antonio López de Santa Anna?

Asked by josie (30934points) February 9th, 2011

I am not from Texas, but I love studying the history of Texas.
The only state that fought, not for sovereign statehood, but for NATIONHOOD for heaven’s sake!
Obviously, Antonio López de Santa Anna is practically synonymous with Satan in Texas.
But he was a huge figure in Mexican history, and worthy of some attention and respect.
He died after the development of chemical photography.
Are there photos of him?
Where can I see them?
