Are there any stores like the old H&M?

Asked by sliceswiththings (11723points) March 7th, 2011

I used to love going to H&M, since I left with simple, colorful shirts, cardigans, skirts, and leggings for super cheap. Now I find that these items are hard to find there, and if you can, they are more expensive than they used to be. For me, it’s no longer worth suffering through the loud club music.

Do you know of any stores or clothes companies that sell these simple, comfortable items for cheap?

What is H&M?

It depends which stores you go to – I found out that not all stores carry the “Divided” brand, and that’s the H&M stuff that I really like (sounds like what you’re describing). Have you checked out different H&M locations?

What about American Apparel? There isn’t one very close to me, so I don’t go in there very often, but it might fit the bill.

@Seelix – Well, American Apparel is anything but “cheap.” ;-)
