What is this iPhone application?

It was an amazing app, you would look through a list of buildings\areas, and download them, then you could use the touchscreen for a 3D walkaround tour. What was this app?

That sounds very much like an augmented reality application. I went through a list of those recently and many apps were on the list similar to your description. You might try searching “augmented reality”.

Also the app “Tour Wrist” comes to mind.
