What are some good paper airplane designs?

Asked by PhiNotPi (12681points) March 14th, 2011

What do you consider to be the best paper airplane design? I am looking for something that flies very well, but not one that is so complicated that slight errors will destroy the flight of the plane.

@blueiiznh I have to admit that I was looking for something more complicated than the Ring. I’ll give it a try, though.

I don’t know what method this is but the design that I have always loved is where you fold your paper in half then take one corner and fold it down to the mid-line fold you just made. Flip the paper over and do the same to other side. Then you make the same fold from the corner piece you just folded down to the mid-line and ditto the other side. Grab the first fold and fluff out the second and voila you have an airplane that can go a good distance.

Edit: it’s called the Arrow.
