It’s about as likely as Santa Claus, the Loch Ness Monster, Gilgamesh, and the tooth fairy having belly buttons.

Well, if Adam were formed from the dust of the earth and Eve were formed from his rib, neither would have been attached to an umbilical cord at any point in time.

Afaik ribs don’t come with umbilical cords (with coleslaw or BBQ sauce maybe, but never heard of ribs with umbilical cord).

So, in this hypothetical Q and scenario, a belly button for either would hardly make much sense, would it now?

If there really were an Adam and Eve, then no, for the reasons @Buttonstc mentioned.

Would you Adam & Eve it? Not bloody likely!

It is doubtful that they ever existed. They are akin to Romulus and Remus – speculative mythological constructs to explain the social structure of the time.

Just think, if they were preserved somewhere, if we discovered bodies with no belly button, and no surgical alteration, we might prove Adam and Eve.

Not only did they have belly buttons; the were belly buttons.

Well, it makes about as much sense as the question. Sue me.

Adam and Eve both had belly buttons and the why is because they were born just like any other human is born. There is no other way. By the way when you die our belly buttons go to the Naval Reserve. LOL

Yes, it is highly likely both Adam & Eve had belly buttons according to the genographic project

According to the study, scientific Eve arrived first.

The Human Family Tree is a seriously interesting show. It’s worth renting it or streaming it.

There is no other way to become human but to be born of parents. Soon maybe we can clone people that wouldn’t be attached to an umbilical cord? Who knows?

Sure, because homo erectus had belly buttons too.

Haha, I agree with most. I doubt they existed anyway; I was just wondering what people’s takes were on the subject. All quite hypothetical.

Adam is the Arcangel Michael spoken of in the Bible. He helped organize this world to accept life as we know it.

I was told they did, it’s where their Creator poked them and said ‘you’re done’.
