If it’s national goof off day, and goofing off is what you do regularly, what do you do? If you’re goofing off from goofing off, does that mean you have to work? :-\

Oh, and showering. We haven’t had hot water (the water heater back fired) since Saturday…

Ah, the life of retirement.

Damn. I wish I knew the name of the guy who remodeled this house. I’d find him and punch him. It’s obviously a do-it-yourself-even-though-you-don’t-have-a-clue-but-you’re-a-guy-so-it-must-be-an-instinct job. Ten foot ceilings. Common sense would tell you to use freaking 4 X 10 pieces of drywall, run them around the room, mud and be done with it! But no. He uses 4 X 8 and laid them in sidewise, which only gives you 8 feet. So he needed to fill in 2 more feet. If you insist on doing it that way, then common sense would tell you you’d want to cut in that last two feet at the bottom….or perhaps at the top..BUT NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREAKIN WALL. Seesh. All over the house we have these double seams cracking out. I’m working in the bedroom, having to cut a V shape into the seam then mud and tape. My arms hurt from putting that steady pressure on the knife. Moron.

So much for goofing off. Moron.

Heh, well great, so far I am fully indulging in goofing off today.
Got to bed too late last night and my engine is lagging on the hills.

3 Hours til happy hour, that’s the goal. lol
