How many areas of the computer does Adobe Flash Player affect?

Asked by Aesthetic_Mess (7894points) March 25th, 2011

The wording was a little strange, but what programs does Adobe Flash Player influence?
Because it seems that every single day, Flash will crash on Firefox, and then Microsoft Word will freeze up, and then I can’t access Windows Explorer where I have organized my documents into files. And the iTunes stops playing. I just updated Flash, but I would still like to know why it happens.
Does Flash influence all the programs I mentioned?

Not in my experience. I suspect you should look elsewhere.

Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card? And for that matter printer?

I’ve noticed my Youtube crashing a fair amount, as well.

Yes. Flash is shit. It won’t, in my experience, lead to ms word and explorer crashes, though, unless the OP’s operating system is already really fucked.

Flash is the often cited as a leading cause not just for Mac OS X crashes, but for Windows OS as well.

If the OS is affected, then any applications supported by the OS are likely to be affected in some way as well.

Hi,maybe Adobe flash player impairs, but I don’t think it a absolute answer, because some other factors also can be considered as the reasons. But Adobe flash player would lead you slow pc speed.
