King Tiger is usually picked as the best tank from WW2, though it is debatable, less than 500 even were finished and didn’t see action til the Normandy invasion in 1942. IS-3 Never saw combat as I understand it.

@DrBill Assuming you’re including the Russians as the “US Side” than there are no less than two tanks better than the Sherman. Shermans were actually not that great, and had a tendency of “bouncing” shells off Panzers. Their one big plus was we had a crap ton of them.
