Question about setting up Minecraft Multiserver?

Asked by madmax303 (262points) April 2nd, 2011

So I was watching “Minecraft server setup” on youtube by paulsoaresjr (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtMj2cGnkB0 ) . Everything was going well, and I was finding all the codes I needed too. At about 3:58, he said to put the Gateway code into the address bar, which I did. Then I had to put in the password and username, which I also did. But then when Linksys came up, it was first of all, in Italian, which I fixed, but it was also missing things.

This is what it looked like http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af11… apture.png

So, as you can see, I can fill everything out, but there is no save button. And also, look at the top, there are categories missing. How can I fix this?

Do you mean multiplayer server? Unless you’re stuck on the Mincraft.net official server software, I’d look into Bukkit. It’s free, has better mod support, and I’ve heard is better in terms of lightweightness as well.

That being said, me and a friend run a Hamachi server sometimes with the official server software and I haven’t run into any problems at all with it.

Your link doesn’t work, too.

You best let Flutherites in if you get it working. :D
