I’ve mulled over this and am obviously missing something. Can you tell me how?

You write what you want the link to say in quotation marks Ex: “link”
Then you put a : beside it. Ex: “link”:
Then you post your link beside it.

Do you mean like this?

I typed it as ” this ” : pasted the link that I copied. With no spaces.

@WillWorkForChocolate I love how I just clicked on your link and then I was directed to a My Little Pony website. Hahahahahaha.

I remember when I finally learned to link. It took me forever to figure it out and several jellies trying to explain it to me. It just wasn’t clicking, and then when it did, bam! Hello, I’m Chyna and I’m a recovering link aholic.

I didn’t know how to do this either @queenie so good question and ty for all the answers. I learned something new today too.

For those of us who might forget the format for link shortening, it’s demonstrated underneath the answer box at the bottom of every open thread.

I know Brian…but I never get it right! I think I might have too much testosterone. I have an aversion to following instructions :-D

Not like it’s listed below the text box or anything…
