Parking is a whole lot easier on Columbus Ave. Third St. Is right in the middle of Center City and is murder for parking The Parking Authority is absolutely Draconian, especially at rush hour. if there’s a sign marked Tow Away Zone, it is no exaggeration. They will tow you the second the meter expires. I speak from unfortunate experience.

But Pierres is great, a real mainstay and has been around for ages and ages.

They had a terrific staff when I’ve shopped there in the past but I moved away from Philly a couple of years ago. I miss Philly and Pierres. I just don’t miss the Parking Authority.

If you ever have an emergency that requires a fake stache and all the stache stores are closed, here’s an ingenious solution. ;-)
