Where to buy custom thank you cards?

Asked by ariherzog (33points) April 14th, 2011

I know the online retailers (Staples, Officemax, etc) offer this, as well as strictly online businesses like Cafepress and Vistaprint, so where do you go online to create custom thank you cards, or to choose from existing designs and add your own name to it?

Depends on what kind you want. If you’re looking for something quick and not very expensive, www.moo.com has a good selection of four color designs. Their mini business cards are fun for a personal card.

I like engraved cards, and use a local engraver/stationer to create a non-folded card that can be used for notes or invitations.

I make my own. I buy the card stock at Michaels or a scrapbook place. I import photos from the web for the occassion, and write my own message.

I’ve used the following:

paperspring

peartree

and vistaprint

These are what I use for my business. For personal, handwritten is the way to go. I have simple monogrammed notes that I get at a local store.

I’ve had excellent custom service on the first two listed.

zazzle.com

You can create postage stamps, postcards, notecards, invitations, etc. there. It’s fun.

Any upscale card retailer.

Like @cak, I’ve used Peartree. I’ve ordered from them for personalized gifts for family/friends, too and found their quality and service to be excellent.
