Dairy free asparagus soup?

My google-fu fails me. I have a ton of asparagus and as I’m the only person in the household who will eat it, and I won’t be able to eat all of it before it spoils, I want to make soup. But all the recipies I can find have milk or cream in them. Dairy is a no-go for me and anything resembling a dairy substitute will make me dislike the soup anyway.

Can anybody help me find a nice recipe for asparagus soup that contains no dairy or dairy substitutes?
