General Question

I'm specifically looking for video game sound effect ringtones for my iPhone. Any suggestions?

I’m thinking there has to be an easier way of doing this rather than hunting for old midi files and importing, etc. etc. Any thoughts?

Super Mario Bros.: Life up! Brilliant, and instantly recognisable.

Maybe the sound effect for when you solve a puzzle in a Zelda dungeon, or the sound you hear when you open a big chest. I’ve always loved those sounds. :)

Right there in line with you guys…but I’m actually looking specifically for the sound files or a source for similar files.

I’ve always liked the sound effects from Metal Gear Solid, especially the codec ring, and the (!!!) sound. If you go to the adiumx.com website, and look under the plugins/themes/sounds page, you can find an Adium sound theme for MGS, you can just download it though as a zip file, and you’ll have the mp3s for it.

Also i’d reccomend the general victory music (after winning a battle) from the Final Fantasy series, it, and a ton of final fantasy music in MIDI can be found at ffonline.com
