Do people still read the Fluther blog?

Asked by KateTheGreat (13640points) April 26th, 2011

I’ve been trying to find things around this site that I’ve not seen before. I recently read some of the blog entries and I was wondering, do people still read the blog? Do they use it as often as they used to?

I look at it whenever a new post is mentioned on the community feed.

This link will take you to a random question. And I don’t read the blog.

@math_nerd This might just provide some entertainment >:)

I read it whenever something new is posted.

Hey, um…math_nerd, is it?
You should put that link on the site somewhere. I like what it does and I don’t want to have to come back to this question every time I want to use it.

@breedmitch :: If you use firefox (with GreaseMonkey) or chrome you can install a script I wrote. It will add a R in the header like this that will take you to a random question.

I can’t tell you how many people read it, but I write it (most of it, anyway). I can tell you there have been more regular postings on it somewhat recently than there usually are, due to the “Meet the Mods” series. When there’s not an ongoing series, it tends to be a little more random. This reminds me, we’re due for another installment in that series.

It’s great. Sure do.

What a riot @math_nerd! Nothing like answering a question 5 years old!

Yes, whenever a new post is there, I read it immediately. I’ve really enjoyed “getting to know” the Mods! Thanks for writing the posts, Augustlan!

I’ve no doubt that they do, me however, I do not. That came across as all Sherlock Holmes-ie for some reason.

I have my RSS reader subscribed to it. So, whenever a new entries is posted I see it almost instantly.

@math_nerd I went to that link..it was a question that had been closed. It wasn’t a bad question, and didn’t have that many answers. Now I’m curious as to why it had been “deleted.”

@Dutchess_III :: The standards have shifted over the years. Asking, “What is your favorite song?” would have been deleted three years ago. Now it is the norm.
