Is it possible to get simple "apps" for my iPod nano, 5th generation?

Asked by jellyfish3232 (1852points) May 3rd, 2011

My friend has an iPod nano, the same model as mine (5th generation) and apparently he knows of a website where you can download simple apps for it. He showed me a flashlight app on his iPod, so unless he pulled some tricky stunt on me, he isn’t lying. I’ve tried searching this with google and haven’t found what I want. I don’t suppose tapping the collective could help?

By the way, I already know about the click wheel games that you can buy in the itunes store, and those aren’t what I mean.

Besides the click wheel games, the answer is no.

A flashlight app would be easy to fake using album covers.

Actually, I was thinking that he created a folder in the photos section, called the folder “Flashlight App”, and loaded it with pictures of solid colored… Pictures.
When he scrolled the click wheel the color changed. Also, the app wasn’t capitalized, and he isn’t big on capitalizing things… It was probably a fake.
