What movie is this?

It’s a bit old movie. Starts like this: A pakistani or indian looking guy walks into a hall of a huge house, where is a fountain with a little lake takes place at the middle of the room. And he falls and stumbles in everything, then he meets a woman, they go up to a room to talk…
Sounds like a lousy movie, I know, but it isn’t. Sorry for the poor description, but it was long time ago I’ve seen it, and only the first 30 mins, but it was kind of interesting to me, and I’m still searching for it.
