How do you deal with sexist wankers?

Asked by everephebe (11611points) May 8th, 2011

Especially, if you’re related to them. Is physical violence ok? Seriously, whiskey-tango-foxtrot, how do you deal with a person who treats women as their property? Or a second class citizen?

My step-brother is an asshole, do I punch him in the mouth? Or what? He’s been taught that women are worthless kitchen slaves, and he’s not masculine unless he’s an ultimate bastard.

I’m sure by now he knows how you feel so I would ignore everything he says that is offensive and pay attention to him only when he acts right….kind of like dog training.XD

I should clarify that he is a stubborn motherfucker who doesn’t listen to reason.
@lucillelucillelucille He only knows I no longer tolerate his shit. And by the way I’m a fellow.

@everephebe I wouldn’t bother talking to him too much as it doesn’t sound like you will change his mind.Choose your battles. :)

@lucillelucillelucille But I live under the same roof with him. And we now hate each other openly.
+ We share a bathroom, and he isn’t potty trained.

@everephebe -I would try to ignore him because I doubt you will change him.
As for improving his aim? That is also unlikely to change.

Ok, I am so making keys to this bathroom and locking the door on him then.

@everephebe—Awww! Well, you could always kick his ass! XD

@lucillelucillelucille I might just yet, we’re brothers after all, what else are brothers for?
Of course he does have 100 or so pounds on me, but hey – that never stopped me before.

@everephebe—It worked with my sister and I.
She is 2” taller than me and has a longer reach but I was faster and stronger. It took about 6,752 pummellings from her to find that out!XD
She left me alone after that.— ;)

Where are the parents in any of this? Can they intercede at all?

When he is fresh out of the shower burst into the bathroom and taser him. When he stops twitching and is gaining his senses…drop kick his nuts into the next county. When he regains consciousness, grab him by the hair and calmly tell him that if he ever pees on the toilet seat again you won’t be so loving and kind to your ½ blood kin!

Give the fucker enough rope to hang himself with, metaphorically speaking of course. Although…..

Well once a kid on my junkyard wars team, when I asked “what could I be doing to help out right now?” told me to go make him a sandwich. I just told him in a really harsh tone that it wasn’t funny. Later on in the day I accidentally spilled a cup of water all over his crotch. It was sincerely an accident, but I was very glad it happened and decided that would have been acceptable behavior if I had done it on purpose. I don’t agree with all-out violence, though.

Okay, I know how to make these vicious traps. You need an empty soup can, a nail, and a round of birdshot, and an old incandescent bulb and some black powder. What you do is…

Oh, step-brother you live with? Build up ahead of time the best arguments you can to counter his. Work on them, practice them so you can say them quickly when the time comes. If those don’t work, break his nose.

@janbb Parents are out of town. I suppose in more ways than one.
@noelleptc Oh and he likes onions. Don’t know about a girlfriend or not.

Mmmm, onions. They can treat tuberculosis, you know.

everephebe's avatar

@incendiary_dan TB worries me a little, I really hope know one here has it. I only know one step-relative tested positive, but then nothing was said about it.

I work at a facility that used to be a TB hospital. Seemed prudent to know the natural treatments. Either that or I was just looking up stuff about onions.
