don’t know where you are, but Sweet Tomotoes is usually a pretty good place with a variety of options.

Wagamama’s if you like noodles.

P.F. Chang’s has some pretty healthy food if you follow the vegetarian routine.

Any Japanese restaurants (just avoid the ones that serve blowfish).

As generic as this is, Subway is both delicious and healthy.

@Kool_Gal you can’t not try the fugu if it is offered to you. It is tasty,

WestRiverrat. No thanks! I’ve read that Japanese chefs are highly trained to prepare that fugu dish but…Again, there were victims and my common senses prevent me from taking such risk.

Souplantation (I think it’s called Sweet Tomatoes in other parts of the U.S.)

El Pollo Loco is pretty good (but you should check the sodium listings for their chicken)

Rubio’s has a few things on the “Health Mex” menu that are in the tasty, but acceptable range. They may only have those in California.

Von’s grocery stores have sammiches that are way better than Subway and you can get whatever you want on them (good choice is turkey, lettuce, tomato and avocado on whole wheat, with mustard, hold the mayo)

Think Asian (although Americanized Chinese is often really high in sodium) but Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese food is very healthy.

Most Italian restaurants offer pasta with Marinara sauce (leave off the cheese and the meatballs and the sausage) and add a green salad (without croutons or cheese, and go very light with the dressing)

Most diner style restaurants like Denny’s and Cocos now offer a steamed vegetable platter and will often offer a baked or broiled fish, and often they have a grilled chicken sandwich (in which you would leave off the cheese and mayo, and don’t get a breaded chicken sammich) and they usally have a green salad with chicken added to it (don’t get cheese cubes, ham or croutons, and go light on the dressing) Here’s a link to Coco’s Fit and Lively menu section. Here’s a little bit of info on how to eat healthy at Denny’s

Red Robin has a grilled turkey burger, a grilled salmon burger, a grilled chicken sandwich and a veggie burger (just leave the cheese and mayo off) They also have some entree sized salads that come with different preparations of chicken.

Baja Fresh, Chipotle and La Salsa have some good options.

Outback Steakhouse has a grilled chicken and a grilled salmon entree that come with steamed veggies, you can also order a sweet potato or steamed broccoli from the side dishes. There’s some good stuff on the “Outback Grillers” menu too. You can check out their menu here

Islands Fine Burgers and Drinks has a grilled chicken soft taco, and you can substitute a turkey or veggie patty on any of their burgers (just hold the cheese and mayo and secret sauce) ask for a side salad instead of fries. You can see their menu here

Ruby’s Diner offers a veggie burger and you can get any of their burgers on a whole wheat bun. They also have veggie soft tacos on whole wheat tortillas and an entire “Skinny Lunch” menu. You can see the whole menu here

Loving the answers…
@Kardamom Wow! that is some research; you must watch for healthy options.

@NKH12 I’m a vegetarian so I kind of find these things by default. : )

Not all vegetarian items are super-healthy though. But most restaurants will whip you up a plate of steamed veggies and a baked potato with nothing on it, and they’ll substitute fresh fruit for the French fries, even if those items are not listed on the menu.
