How to project on to a screen using a live camcorder?

Hi my husband is a magician and i need to film him using a camcorder whilst he is doing the card tricks and project it onto a screen so everyone can see. Please can anyone advise how I can achieve this?

Get a video camera with a s-video output and connect it to projector that has a s-video input.
Project onto a screen the video from the camera.

Do you have any equipment now?
Can you rent the equipment?

Make sure the camcorder has an video output for a monitor or projector. You may want to look around for a rental, decent projectors can be exceptionally EXPENSIVE.
