Ben and Andrew work for Twitter now, I get it - but we all work - and fluther - won't you guys come and say hi?

Asked by _zen_ (7857points) May 31st, 2011

According to their profiles – Andrew hasn’t been here in 10 days and Ben visited a couple of days ago – but didn’t write anything. What I always loved about this place was their presence and contribution.

We miss you, founders.

I agree, I’m not sure why they don’t ask questions or answer much any more. I suppose Twitter is keeping them busy. Maybe it’s slowly killing them too.

Great leaders develop people to effectively take over running the show. They also keep tabs on what is happening in their business, whether they are visible to the collective or not.

there are also other flutherers now working for twitter other than Ben and Andrew, the funny thing is one is a good friend of mine, and I wasn’t even using fluther when he was big on here!

They definitely made a great site for us to entertain ourselves with and for the mods and admins to maintain!

Hi Everybody!

We have been busy, but not far away.

I no longer miss @ben‘s face.

Hi Ben! Thanks for proving my point. :)

Awww. Thanks Ben – it’s great to see you here! Been missing you guys. Hope it’s going well for you!

I miss them too. I mostly miss the in-jokes we used to play on them (or they’d play on each other and we’d get involved in). I remember when we all changed our profile pictures to Ben in costume for one of the plays he was in. And how Andrew got the nickname “Andrea” – which I still call him on rare occassion.
It’s good to know that they still pop in though. It’s like being watched over by parents or older siblings who don’t want to make it known that they’re watching. =]
..... I do miss their contributions though. We love you Bendrewim!

I also get nice PMs from them, if you consider bashes to your ego a good time.

@breedmitch awesome. I’ll catch up with you and the others on vchat tonight—you should be more discrete about the big thing.

Oops. I didn’t realize it was such a secret. BTW, I am still rotflol4rl about that thing you did with your feet last night. Classic!!

We lurve you @ben – it’s comforts us to see you around here and post a question now and then. I hope I don’t speak for myself only – even if you only drop by from time to time – it reminds us of what we fell in love with when we first found fluther – or when fluther found us.
