If you’re into arts and crafts maybe you could start a scrapbook with some photographs of your family and friends from school or make collages out of fabric and magazine clippings.

I think starting a garden is a great idea. Check out your local community garden or start it at home if you have the space. Plant some flowers and perhaps some fruits and veggies for your family to enjoy.

If you want to make a little money this summer, you can always mow lawns, paint, house sit, dog walk, baby sit, etc.

Volunteering is another really great suggestion. I’m sure there are plenty of people in your community who could use your help.
