I just had to use the Oxford English dictionary’s latest entry – lol – in a question, sorry. But while we’re here – why not tell us something that actually made you laugh out loud – or write something funny that might make me.
Yes, there are many threads with jokes, Chuck Norris, lolcats et al; but that was yesterday. Besides, most of them are long and take ages to load.
Please: no links. They are scary and usually less funny than you think. Take it from someone who isn’t a visual person – short, funny anecdotes or jokes go a long way. A one-liner is worth a thousand pictures.

Okay, here’s one that cracks me up…found it a little while back, and today at work I was thinking about it, and it painted what you may call a smile pon me face;

Watching Jon Stewart go off on Donald Trump taking Sarah Palin out for pizza Wednesday night. It was the funniest thing I have seen him do in years.

I can tell you some ignorant people in our life trying to make our life miserable don’t know what’s coming to them, but that’s all I can say. Payback is a bitch. ;) lol
My 5-year old neighbor kid goes, “Hey, Vanessa! Why are there so many Smith’s in the phonebook?” And I said, “I denno. Why?” And she said, “Because they all have phones. DUH.” That made me giggle before I punched her in the head for sassin’ off.
stepfather thought lol meant lots of love, I asked if he thought everyone was emphasizing their love for him and he admitted yes! geez

This made one me laugh a lot. It’s the leaders of WWII, sounding like children playing a game, while being historically accurate.

Been watching Dragonball Z Abridged recently. Also an italian deconstructionist sit com called “Boris”, about a crew filming an incredibly shitty italian tv drama, which makes me laugh for all the wrong reasons, like the fact that this country’s average intellectual level is that of a couple of shoelaces.

I visited my daughter and 2 of her friends. Her 2 friends have the funniest laughs so a joke would start and we’d laugh more and more because of their snorts and honks, so great.
And then the duck said..“put it on my bill”
