What is the purpose of other items in my Zen garden in Plants vs Zombies?

Initially they are there to make you enough money to buy everything.

Afterwards they begin to simply serve their Zen purpose.

i find the night time fungal garden to be the most soothing

Dick measuring contest with your other friends that play PvZ.

For me, at least.

As they said just money at first. They produce more gold coins than the marigolds and can be sold for 8k or 10k depending on which garden they’re in vs the marigolds at 3k. After a bit though you just start having retarded money and none of that matters and you just start making cool patterns and shit with them :P
