For those of you who moved from Canada to the US, was it a difficult transition?

This is likely to happen in a year. I am leaving the land of beer and beavers and the plan is to move to Traverse City, Mich.
Are there any Canucks here who moved to the US? Or, do you know of any Canucks who moved to the US? If so, what was their experience like (if they told ya)? Bueller?
