I like chocolate. If there is a box in the house I will eat it.
My solution? Don’t buy any. Don’t bring any into the house.
When you go food shopping, buy the fruit that is in season and use that as your replacement. Blueberries, strawberries, bananas, etc. Granted , it is not the same as chocolate but it is a whole lot better fro your health, pants size, and peace of mind.

As long as you exercise and you do not get fat there’s no point into stopping.
Enjoy them.

I know you ask how to stop but I suggest not stoping.

My sister is much the same way. She learned to use moderation. A bath and one piece of chocolate is her reward at the end of her hectic days.

Someone needs to come up with a cocoa patch

I like @Pied_Pfeffer‘s reward system. One piece a day hopefully would satisfy your craving and you wouldn’t feel totally deprived.
I would hate to live at @worriedguy‘s house. No chocolate at all along with hot flashes? Oh there would be pots and pans flying through the air.

chocolate is a dirty word. wash your mouth out in it every day!

The first step is admitting you have a problem….

Nice job

Yes, it’s called death. Since that may be considered a bit extreme, focus on dark chocalate which is actually rather healthy in small doses. Just watch what the chocalate is covering, which may be far more unhealthy than the chocalate!

My solution ? I ate a HUGE amount each day for weeks. Then I got sick of it and never eat it now. Two or three pieces?? How about an XL Hershey bar with almonds! I’d buy 2 or 3 at a time. Now it’s been a year since I had one. I just hope that if and when winter arrives I’ll still be sick of them.

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but NO. Resistance is futile.

Don’t buy them. Don’t bring them into your house or your car or your workplace.

Know that you will crave them anyway and do something specific, everytime you crave them. Like think of a waterfall, or stand up and walk around, or have a sip of water.

Just don’t buy them, and you won’t have them.

As has been said, don’t buy them. If they are there, you will eat them. So, just don’t buy them.

If you must buy chocolate, restrict yourself only to quality chocolate. Go and buy a couple of special chocolates and savour each one.

The only certain way I know is death. That’s why I’m considering death by chocolate.
