What is the worse pain to deal with while going through your day, foot or back pain or a migraine?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) July 3rd, 2011

On average which for of pain is toughest to deal with during the day, foot, or back pain, or having a migraine? Does it depend on what job you have? Would foot pain bother a FedEx worker more than a nasty migraine? Would an office worker be bothered just as much with foot pain as back pain? What are your thoughts on that?

I would suggest that toothache is the worst. It doesn’t matter what your doing thats goint to be annoying.

Whatever’s worse is what you have that day. When I have migraines, I would much prefer back pain or foot pain… when I’m walking around like I have a hot poker up my arse because I lifted something wrong the day before, I’d much prefer to be curled up under a blanket with a migraine…

I have never had a migraine but my mother and sister do so I would vote for that. It seems completely debilitating. Foot pain would really suck if you have a job that involves walking around all day, but then again back pain affects walking too.

Migraine. Headaches are brutal, I don’t care what you’re doing.

Nothing I have eve dealt with can top my herniated disc pain…foot or migraines don’t even come close!

Migraines. They affect every aspect of what you’re dong…I get them every now and again, and nothing is more of debilitating than having one of those to me.

Back pain. I sit for stretches of 10+ hrs so I often get pinched sciatic nerves which can cause aches anywhere up and down me. I’m sooooo tempted to buy one of those rolling office chair bases that holds an exercise ball.

@Lightlyseared I know toothaches are probably king, that is why I didn’t mention them, they are pretty much a no-brainer. Har har

@Hypocrisy_Central well there’s kidney stones but I was working on the principle that anyone with kidney stones would be too busy screaming in agony and begging for diamorphine to have time to go work

I would think Fibromyalgia would be the worst because there is no relief for it.

It’s going to be which ever one you are suffering with at the time.
