How do I add a picture as my Tumblr header but keep the text?

On Tumblr, I am using the theme Papercut, and I want to add a picture under the header text without it going away or changing the appearance of the whole theme, but I don’t know how or what the code is to add a photo under the header text. Please help!! D:
