Nice and unique, I like it.

I like Aria, but Royce makes me think of the car manufacturer.

Evie Elroy OR Aria Royce pick one?

WasCy's avatar

I wouldn’t name a child of mine “Aria”, as nice a name as it is, since Aria Giovanni is a fairly well-known porn star who has pretty well co-opted that first name for quite some time, I think.

But Ariel is still pretty “clean”, as far as I know.

@WasCy oh no! stupid horny porny ruined the name. .

quiddidyquestions's avatar

Eeermmm… it sounds like the name of a child with parents who are desperate to be exotic and unique.

It’s like a hot new Vegas hotel/casino and an old fashioned classy car had a love child.

@quiddidyquestions What if It is a stage name for a singer/actress? ;D

gailcalled's avatar

To me also, it sounds labored and or forced.

quiddidyquestions's avatar

@QueenOfNowhere Meh. It has a lot of “r” sounds that get muddled I think. I agree with @gailcalled . It’s trying too hard.

what about carmen electra?

nebule's avatar

I likes it too!!

SpatzieLover's avatar

No. It’s sounds like you’re trying too hard to make a unique name. Many of the most creative people I know have names like Dick & Jane. ;)

Jude's avatar

I don’t care for it.

Kardamom's avatar

It sounds very contrived.

ucme's avatar

It thinks it is, not for me though.
Carmen Electra just sounds like a new range of hair dryers.

Pied_Pfeffer's avatar

Are the two names first and middle or first and last? Who is the name for? P.S. Carmen Electra is already used.

King_Pariah's avatar

It is nice, but that name would result in most people connecting you with Rolls Royce. Not sure if you want it.

Perhaps something like Ariel Love?

tedibear's avatar

Personally, I agree with those who have said that it sounds contrived or forced. Whether for a child or as a stage name, it sounds like someone tried too hard to come up with it.

CunningLinguist's avatar

Meh. Sounds like you’re trying too hard. Good name for the female lead in a bad romance novel, though.

I know an Aria Rose; a one year old. It’s out of some tv show or movie, isn’t it? I would not do it!

filmfann's avatar

Aria Royce? Say it out loud, and try not to sound like Scooby-do.

Sorry, you asked.

FutureMemory's avatar

Ruh roh, Raggy!

Blueroses's avatar

I think Aria could be a very pretty and unusual first name. To keep it from seeming too contrived or stagey, as others said, I would follow it with a traditional middle name. Something like Aria Marie or Aria Lynn.

The Scooby Doo observation is dead-on. Too many “R’s”.

thanks guys.. but I already did it! haha :(

Well best of luck!
