Are we more likely to get rain in hot or cold weather?

Hot. The temperature will increase water vapor in the air through evaporation.

Also, hot air has lower barometric pressure and is able to hold more vapor.

and don’t forget the earths relative position to the sun

it rains a lot in oregon when its cold. its dry in the summer and they have a lot of wildfires. you will get a ticket in oregon if you throw out a lit cig butt in the summer and the popo see you.
