What do you think of rock chicks?

Asked by QueenOfNowhere (1871points) July 22nd, 2011

Close your eyes and imagine a skinny girl wearing black leather jacket, skinny jeans and black high heeled boots. Imagine she has this 80s rock star hair cut (with bangs).

I was in an elevator one time with Joan Jett. Hot sexy and a little dangerous. What’s not to love.

Well, she’s cute, but could she hang with me in a jam session?

TexasDude's avatar

I would do naughty things to her. With her permission, obviously.

First thing that pops in to my mind is Hepatitis A, B, or C. I’ll pass, thank you very much.

I feel the same way about them as I feel about any [insert stereotype here] chicks: if they seem to be trying really hard to fit a particular “image” instead of just being themselves, I tend to assume that they’re not someone I want to hang out with. It’s probably a kind of harsh assumption to make in many cases, but it repels me. But you probably weren’t asking me.

I try not to.

I don’t have negative or positive thoughts about them. If she is a real rock chick, like Chrissie Hind or Chrissie Amphlet Link Well in their heyday they were (and still are) so fantastic. If they are just styling themselves as rock chicks and they feel powerful and sexy and self-assured, good on them.

They are cool.

Wow what a coincidence, 2 on here with the same axe as Lita’s. Now I want one too, but I want the one she’s holding right after she’s done holding it. I would cherish it forever.
